Dr. Rajiv Ranjan Sahay received the B.Tech degree in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, India, in 1998, the M.Tech in electronics and communication engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, India, in 2001, and the Ph.D degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, in 2009. He worked as a research engineer at the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) from 2001 to 2003. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore.
His research interests include low-level vision problems such as shape-from-X, super-resolution, inpainting, disocclusion and applying deep learning techniques for several challenging computer vision problems.
